Co.Starters Elizabethton

A 9-week, cohort-based program that equips entrepreneurs of all kinds with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn ideas into action. The cohort will meet 3 hours once a week to go over a series of topics including marketing, accounting, and product development.

Collaborative Cohort

Groups of 10-16 entrepreneurs meet together for nine weeks, meeting one evening a week for three hours, led by a certified facilitator.

Idea Testing

Over the nine weeks, participants develop and fine-tune their ideas using the CO.STARTERS Canvas, critically examining every part and determining next steps through real-time feedback from people in the community.

Equipped to Launch

Participants leave the program with a deeper understanding of how to create a sustainable venture, articulate their models, and repeat the process with the next great idea.

The City of Elizabethton and the Northeast Tennessee Regional Economic Partnership (NeTREP) are partnering to bring a Co.Starters cohort to Elizabethton starting at 6:00pm on February 12, 2019 through April 16, 2019. Pre-registration is required, so please complete the form below to sign up. There is a fee of $90 per participant that is due on the first day of the class. This fee may be paid at Elizabethton City Hall (where you pay your water bill) after registration or exact cash or check may be brought to the first night of the class. Registration deadline is 5:00pm on February 6th.

The only prerequisites are having an idea you’re ready, willing, and excited to share and pursue and a willingness to study, shape and fine-tune that idea in a supportive, collaborative, and welcoming environment.
