About Us

The Finance Department oversees the security and management of the city's financial and property interests including the collection of both property and business taxes.  The department also oversees the accounting, budget, financial reporting, property tax and utility billing functions for the city. Accounting is responsible for payroll, accounts payable, monthly and yearly financial reports, fund accounting, all investments, fixed assets, outstanding bond issues and all annual reports for the state and federal government.
