A WORD FROM OUR FIRE CHIEF -BARRY CARRIER

Hello, thanks for visiting our website. Our Fire Department is proud to serve this fine community. We have a long tradition of service to our citizens. Our personnel are committed to always doing things the right way. The officers and men are well trained professional firefighters. Our goal is to meet our mission statement by providing service at all hours, every day of the year. Often we come into contact with our citizens during what many would consider to be the worst time in their lives; when fire strikes their home or business. It is my personal goal that at the end of that encounter every single citizen will say "wow, we got the best from those firemen". While we all hope that no one must have that encounter we also know that it is inevitable from time to time. The men are always training to be prepared. If you see them out working on hydrants, testing hose and pumpers, training on the ladder truck, teaching fire safety classes, putting up smoke detectors in homes or any of the other many activities please feel free to stop and get to know them a little better.

Fire Chief,
Barry G. Carrier
