RED SHIFT


BC Tim Edwards     Battalion Chief, Tim Edwards joined the Elizabethton Fire Department in 1991.  Chief Edwards had previously served as a Shift Captain from 2004-2012, before being promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief. Chief Edwards chose to return to the rank of Shift Captain in the fall of 2015. The rank of Shift Captain was officially changed to Battalion Chief in August of 2016. Before coming to work for EFD, Chief Edwards had also served as a volunteer EMT in Sullivan County, TN.

LT David Shouse    Lieutenant, David Shouse has been a member of the Elizabethton Fire Department since 1995 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in August of 2016. Lieutenant Shouse came to EFD with no prior Emergency Services experience, but had earned his EMT license shortly before being hired by EFD. Lieutenant Shouse is also the nephew of former EFD Fire Chief, Mike Shouse.



SGT Russel Hodge    Sergeant, Russell Hodge has been a member of the Elizabethton Fire Department since 1997 and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in August of 2016. Sergeant Hodge came to EFD with no prior Emergency Services experience, having spent the previous 5 years employed by the Elizabethton City School System.
