Planning office sees slight bump in permits for March
There was a net increase of seven permits issued by the City of Elizabethton Planning Office for the month of March as a total of 70 permits were issued compared to 63 for the month of February..
The total valuation of the permits was $1,814,541 while the fees collected by the department were $18,444.
Electrical permits led the way for the month as a total of 21 were issued. Plumbing was the next highest total with 14 permits.
There were four commercial permits issued with a total valuation of $1,406,740 that generated a total of $10,617 in fees.
Five commercial mechanical permits were received valued at $313, 501 resulting in a collection of $3,277 in fees.
